Summer Access - International
Make a splash in service of your literacy and equity goals.
Why do some children surge forward in summer months while others fall behind? Inequity in the flow of educational resources and literacy content in their homes and communities is the primary factor.
At Capstone, we not only work to ensure that access to educational literacy content is available to all learners, but we also strive to create content that is so genuinely fun, engaging, and interesting, that it develops a life-long love of learning and reading in children. When educators, families, and communities share this commitment, literacy improves, and we all thrive.

Encourage hours of fun, educational reading activity this summer!
By signing up, you provide your students with a portable library of engaging reading material that they can access at home, or on the go. Capstone’s platforms are designed for intuitive navigation by kids, so they can easily browse, select and read eBooks and articles independently. Parents and families can also get involved by reading with their students and choosing from over 50 guided activities to encourage their kids to have fun with what they’ve learned.
Summer is a time for unstructured learning, but that doesn’t have to mean unsupported. With the right resources, students can use this time to learn about the topics that truly interest them and engage with content in a format that suits their learning style. When you empower your learners and families with this type of content in their homes, the summer switches from a learning drought to a time when a genuine love of reading and learning flourishes. There is no better way to set educators and students up for success in the 2024/25 school year.

Why partner with Capstone?
Who we are
Capstone is a leading educational publisher of K-5 digital solutions, children’s books, and literacy programs for school libraries, classrooms, and at-home reading. Home of the award-winning PebbleGo™ curriculum-connected learning tool, Capstone has a passion for inspiring students to learn and their communities to thrive. We’ve been fortunate to play this part on behalf of students for over 30 years. Helping schools exceed the expectations of their communities inspires us in planning the next 30 years.
Why we make summer access free for schools
Capstone is passionate about equity, inclusivity, and accessibility for the benefit of all learners and their communities. There should be no barriers to learning. Students should be able to access books and educational resources that speak to their curiosity, their experiences, their imagination, and of course, their heart. Eliminating barriers to access of age-appropriate, engaging, and educational learning resources over the summer is one of the most significant ways Capstone can work towards closing the literacy gap, and every day we commit to that.

Here are some of the ways we make that as easy as possible for summer learning champions:
- Simple implementation with support from our customer success team
- Resources for educators which include classroom posters, letters home, and bookmarks with login instructions
- Resources for parents/families, including over 50 easy-to-follow activities to encourage accelerated learning over the summer break
